Today BHLDN {pronouced "Beholden", inspired by the Dutch word for "to keep"} from the folks behind Anthropologie was launched to the country. The collection of wedding dresses, party dresses, shoes, jewelry,  and accessories is full of amazing details, texture, and hand-crafted perfection. The  lingerie is amazing!
The collection totally makes me want to get married all over again and if i did maybe this is what i would be wearing. 

I love a good statement necklace.

And i am thinking about this dress for a couple of weddings that are coming up.

My weekend in picture...

Hello everyone!
Today i am struggling with a bad case of mondayitis, i wish i was
anywhere but here at work right now. My weekend was lovely and went
way too fast. The days were spent by the pool, making sushi and
working on the veggie garden.

I'm getting a dog!...

I am super exited about this and just had to share it with you all.
I'm getting a dog! Ben finally gave in to me and yesterday we paid the
deposit and saw a photo of our new baby(he was born on Sunday). He
hasn't got a name yet but he is a cream Labradoodle. We get to pick
him up at Christmas time. Woo hoo.

Anyone got any idea's for a name??

What a day!...

I have had a terrible day! my students have gone completely mad. M did
a 'goona' (poo) in the back yard and one of the other kids stepped in
it. And one of my other kids W bit one of the other kids because he
called him a 'salty plum' (big deal!) and then told me to f*** off and
told me that I was a mother F***** and ran home, so then I had to
chase him all the way to his house and drag him back to school! FAR
OUT!

Who would have thought that such a cute little face could be so crazy!

i'm in love...

One of my favourite blogs 'oh joy' introduced me to Lauren Moffatt
today and she has now become one of my favourite designers!
The new collection called 'Honeymooner' was inspired by a dress that
used to hang in her mothers closet that she once wore on her
honeymoon. Im a very sentimental person and have boxes of special
things that remind me of special times in my life. The wardrobe in my
spare room if full of clothes that i have warn on a special accession
such as weddings and birthdays. I love to look through it and be
reminded of special times gone by.
I will be adding one of Lauren Moffatt's dresses to my 'wish list'.

Oh Olivia...

So i have had a little girl crush on Olivia Palermo for a little while now, I love her style and the way she wears those statement necklaces!... anyone that knows me would tell you that i love a good statement necklace!

And to top that off, she has the most amazing apartment!..... I want those chairs.

I will admit though that i don't really like her ignorance and attitude towards a lot of things but i am giving her the benefit of the doubt, and I think that maybe its just the way that 'the city' want us to see her.

Today my order of two journals arrived in the mail. I love good old snail mail and the package was so lovely presented it just made me want to order more!

This time last year...

Last weekend was a special one for me. Ben and i got engaged this time last year. It was such an amazing night. On Saturday i had a look through the photos again and thought i would share some of them with you. Ben is so romantic when he wants to be!

fun times...

I just wanted to share with you a couple of funny stories from work. You know how kids just say what they think, and they think for real funny stuff like this:

A boy in my class had a little cut on his foot so he asked for a band aid. I put one on and he began to see the blood through his band aid. He looked up at me and said "miss, is that sucking up my blood?" I said "Well yeah a little, just the blood that’s coming out" He looked shocked and replied "but miss, I won’t grow big"!

I don’t normally wear makeup to school but today I felt like I needed just a little bronzer and mascara. When I got to school and the kids were sitting on the mat listening to me read a story one little boy asked "miss, you didn’t have a shower" I was confused and said "yes, I had one before I came to school" I had no idea what he was on about, did I smell? Then he said, "Well what’s on your face"!

Kids are just too cute sometimes!

My new friend...

Meet my friend coco... i think i may have spoken about him once before. Ben i and were feeding him when he was still on the bottle. Well he's a litle sick at the moment and needs to be looked after 24/7 so he is living in my classrooms backyard! The kids love him as do i and he loves us back. The kids even prayed for him asking Jesus to 'fix coco'. How cute!
